About Kindtide

People, Talent & Search from the inside out.

Kindtide brings more than 20 years of experience working inside organisations, owning hiring outcomes, building Talent capability and making the People decisions that sit behind growth. We understand the pressure, trade-offs and commercial reality because we have been accountable for them ourselves.

Why Kindtide

Why Kindtide

Built from inside the problem

Kindtide comes from more than 20 years working inside organisations, carrying vacancies, owning hiring budgets and outcomes, building Talent capability and making People decisions with real commercial consequences.

We look beyond the presenting problem

A difficult hire may be a role-design issue. A performance problem may begin with unclear expectations. A resignation may expose something that should have been addressed much earlier. We look at what is actually sitting underneath the issue.

We stay human and commercial

We are clear, honest and practical. Candidates deserve respect. Clients deserve straight answers. If the brief is unrealistic, the package is misaligned or recruitment is not actually the answer, we will say so.

The Kindtide Philosophy

Not all tides roar. Some move quietly, but powerfully.

For Kindtide, impact does not need to be loud or performative to matter. Often the most valuable work happens earlier: challenging a brief before an impossible role goes to market, fixing a hiring process before great candidates disappear, noticing when onboarding is setting someone up to fail or helping someone navigate a difficult transition with clarity and confidence.

A tide changes the environment around it. Sometimes you only recognise the impact when you look back and realise the landscape has changed.

But the “kind” matters just as much as the tide.

Kind hiring. Kind leadership. Kind conversations, even when they are difficult.

Kindness is not weakness. It is strength with humanity: being clear, honest and commercially responsible while remembering there is a person on the other side of the decision.

Care deeply. Be commercially useful. Leave things better than you found them.

Acknowledgement of Country

Kindtide acknowledges the Wadawurrung People and the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung People of the Eastern Kulin Nation as the Traditional Custodians of the lands and waters where we live and work across the Bellarine Peninsula and Melbourne.

We recognise their enduring connection to Country and pay our respects to Elders past and present. We honour the strength, wisdom and continuing cultures of First Nations peoples and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

As a talent practice shaping workplaces across Australia, we have a responsibility to foster fairness, representation and genuine inclusion. We commit to listening, learning and supporting workplaces where First Nations peoples have opportunity, voice and leadership.

May we walk gently, act with integrity and help the tide of equity continue to rise.
